Three areas of Syariah legal practice — each handled with care.

How we approach each matter
Listen & Understand
We begin by understanding your specific circumstances — family composition, state of residence, and what you are hoping to achieve or clarify.
Map the Pathway
We identify the applicable state enactment, relevant court jurisdiction, typical procedural timeline, and realistic range of outcomes.
Proceed at Your Pace
You decide whether and how to proceed. If you engage us for representation, we manage the process methodically and keep you informed at each stage.
Service 01
Mediation-Led Family Syariah Consultation (Sulh)
A gentle first session for Muslim individuals and couples facing family matters under the applicable state Syariah enactments. The consultation focuses on understanding your circumstances, walking through the Sulh (mediation) process within the Syariah Courts, and outlining realistic procedural steps.
Matters covered include fasakh, taklik, nafkah, hadhanah, mut'ah, iddah, division of harta sepencarian, and related issues. Where appropriate, we also introduce considerations relating to the civil courts where matters such as civil property ownership intersect.
What is included
- Initial 60-minute consultation session (in-person or remote)
- State jurisdiction assessment and applicable enactment review
- Sulh process explanation and preparation guidance
- Overview of procedural timeline and court sequence
- Civil-Syariah boundary clarification where relevant
RM 540 / session

Faraid Estate Distribution & Wasiat Drafting
Thoughtful preparation of Islamic estate matters for Muslim individuals and families, covering Faraid (the prescribed distribution scheme), Wasiat (testamentary wishes within the permissible one-third limit), and Hibah (lifetime gifts) as recognised under state Muslim enactments.
We discuss family composition, asset inventory (real property, deposits, investments, business interests), and appropriate structuring between Faraid, Wasiat, and Hibah. Where beneficial, we coordinate with Amanah Raya Berhad or Wasiat Shariah for registration.
What is included
- Faraid share calculation and beneficiary mapping
- Wasiat drafting (within one-third limit, to non-heirs)
- Hibah structuring as a lifetime estate planning instrument
- Coordination with Amanah Raya Berhad or Wasiat Shariah
- Post-demise Sijil Faraid application support
- Coordination with civil court for Grant of Probate where required
RM 1,900 / engagement

Service 03
Syariah Court Family & Civil Representation
Full representation before state Syariah High Courts and Subordinate Courts for non-criminal matters — divorce proceedings, hadhanah (custody) applications, nafkah (maintenance) claims, division of harta sepencarian (matrimonial assets), permission for polygamy applications, and guardianship petitions under the Guardianship of Infants Act (Muslim variant).
Our advocates are admitted Peguam Syarie and approach each matter with a measured, evidence-based style, favouring Sulh where it fairly serves the family. Engagements include filings, case management, hearing representation, and where relevant, appellate work before the Syariah Court of Appeal.
What is included
- Initial case assessment and strategy session
- Preparation and filing of all court documents
- Case management appearances and hearing representation
- Sulh facilitation where ordered or appropriate
- Appellate work before the Syariah Court of Appeal if required
From RM 3,600
